  • Trained and tested an Object-Dectection model using YOLOv8 for detecting Staff Gauge from crowd-sourced images.
  • Implemented water-line detection using OpenCV pre-processing techniques by binarizing image and scanning bottom-to-top for white-pixel threshold.
  • Developed the pipeline for extracting the numeric staff-gauge measurement of detected water-line using Google Gemini 2.5 Flash model and produced visualizations for model performance evaluation using Matplotlib.
  • Integrated and deployed the AI pipeline on a Twilio web-hook endpoint to process crowd-sourced images.
  • Implemented Redis-Queue for background image processing and improved used response time by average 5 seconds.
